This Privacy Policy describes how Topicimes (« we », « us », or « our ») collects, uses, and shares information when you install and use the Variant Stock Sync application (« the App ») through the Shopify platform.

2. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we collect and store the following information:

Your Shopify store domain name
An API access token provided by Shopify to communicate with your store
Product and variant identifiers for products you configure within the App
Inventory quantities associated with your configured product variants
Synchronization settings you choose (webhook, scheduled sync, location filtering)
Your current Shopify subscription plan for the App
We do not collect any personal information about your customers. We do not collect names, email addresses, physical addresses, payment information, or browsing data of your customers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information listed above solely to:

Synchronize inventory quantities between your product variants
Enforce plan-based feature restrictions
Provide scheduled synchronization services when enabled
Maintain and improve the App
4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Cloudflare D1, a globally distributed database service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Data is processed through Cloudflare Workers. We do not transfer your data to any other third party.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your information with any third party, except as required to operate the App through the Shopify and Cloudflare platforms.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

When you uninstall the App, we mark your store as inactive. Within 48 hours, Shopify sends a data deletion request, and we permanently delete all data associated with your store, including product configurations, synchronization logs, and your access token.

You may also delete individual product configurations at any time from within the App.

7. GDPR Compliance

We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We handle all mandatory Shopify GDPR webhooks:

Customer data request: We do not store any customer personal data, so there is no data to provide.
Customer data erasure: We do not store any customer personal data, so there is no data to erase.
Shop data erasure: We permanently delete all store data upon receiving this request from Shopify.
8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we store about your store by contacting us
Request deletion of your data at any time by uninstalling the App or contacting us
Withdraw consent by uninstalling the App

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the « Last updated » date at the top of this page.
